Chipotle Lime Crema

This smoky and tangy chipotle lime crema is the perfect finishing touch for carnitas, grilled shrimp, or roasted veggie tacos. With just the right balance of heat and citrus, it’s an instant flavor upgrade.

Ingredients:
½ cup sour cream
1–2 chipotles in adobo (adjust to heat preference)
1 tbsp adobo sauce (from the can)
Juice of ½ lime
1 small garlic clove, minced
Pinch of salt
1–2 tablespoons water, as needed to thin
Preparation:
In a small blender or food processor, combine sour cream, chipotles, adobo sauce, lime juice, garlic, and salt.
Blend until smooth. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time to reach your desired consistency.
Taste and adjust seasoning or lime juice if needed.
Refrigerate for up to 5 days. Great served cold or at room temp.
