Cilantro Lime Crema

Fresh, zesty, and ultra-versatile, this cilantro-lime crema brightens up carne asada tacos, grilled chicken, or even nachos. It’s creamy without being heavy, and quick to whip up.

Cilantro Lime Crema

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup sour cream

  • ½ cup fresh cilantro leaves (lightly packed)

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • 1 small garlic clove

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1–2 tablespoons water, as needed to thin

 

Preparation:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.


  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.


  3. Adjust salt or lime juice to taste. Thin with water if a drizzle consistency is desired.


  4. Store covered in the fridge for up to 5 days.
