This Warm Bacon Onion Dip delivers all the savory, creamy goodness you crave with just the right touch of heat and tang. Whether you're hosting a game day, a holiday gathering, or just having friends over for drinks, this dip is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients
For the Dip:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup mayonnaise
½ tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
¼ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp Worcestershire sauce
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup onion jam (see recipe below)
3 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
Chopped chives, for garnish
Toasted baguette slices, for serving
For the Onion Jam:
1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp kosher salt
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tbsp water
Preparation
Make the Onion Jam:
In a large skillet over medium-low heat, add the oil, sliced onion, and salt. Cook, stirring often, until the onions soften; about 5 minutes.
Reduce heat to low. Stir in the brown sugar, balsamic vinegar, and water.
Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the onions are deeply golden and jammy, and the liquid is absorbed; about 15–20 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool. (Note: This recipe makes more jam than you'll need. Store the extra in the fridge and use it on burgers, grilled cheese, or flatbreads.)
Prepare the Dip:
In a stand mixer or large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until light and fluffy; about 3–5 minutes.
Add the mayonnaise, dry mustard, cayenne, salt, and Worcestershire. Beat again until smooth and well combined; another 3-5 minutes.
Fold in the Parmesan cheese and ⅓ cup of the prepared onion jam until just combined.
Spoon the dip into a small oven-safe dish and smooth the top. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon evenly over the surface.
Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes, until warmed through.
Garnish with chopped chives and serve hot with toasted baguette slices.
