These Kentucky Hot Brown Sliders are a bite-sized spin on the iconic open-faced sandwich born at the Brown Hotel in Louisville. Layered with sliced turkey, fresh tomato, crispy bacon, and smothered in a creamy cheese sauce, these mini sandwiches are perfect for Derby Day spreads, brunch buffets, or Southern-inspired parties. They're rich, comforting, and totally irresistible.

Ingredients:
12 slider rolls, split
6 tbsp mayonnaise
1 lb sliced deli turkey
3 tomatoes, sliced
12 slices cooked bacon, halved
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Preparation:
Preheat broiler. Spread mayo on cut sides of the rolls and place cut-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Broil for 1–2 minutes, just until golden. Reduce oven to 200ºF to keep sliders warm.
Layer turkey on the bottom halves of the rolls. Top with a tomato slice and 2 bacon halves. Return to the oven to stay warm.
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook 1–2 minutes. Slowly whisk in milk until smooth. Add Parmesan and paprika; stir until thickened, about 4–5 minutes. Remove from heat, stir in cheddar until melted, and season with salt and pepper.
Spoon warm cheese sauce (about 1 heaping tbsp) over each sandwich. Add the top rolls and serve immediately.
