Let’s be honest, sometimes you just need a shortcut that tastes like you went the extra mile. This is my go-to trick for elevating a basic package of store-bought shrimp cocktail into a crave-worthy appetizer. With just a few pantry seasonings and a splash of lemon, you can take precooked shrimp from bland to bold in minutes.

Ingredients:
1 package of cooked shrimp cocktail (I use the one from Costco)
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tbsp Badia complete seasoning
¾ tbsp Cajun seasoning
¾ tbsp Old Bay seasoning
Cocktail sauce, for serving
Remoulade sauce, for serving
Preparation:
Remove the shrimp from the packaging and place them in a mixing bowl.
Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon over the shrimp. Add the complete seasoning, Cajun seasoning, and Old Bay.
Gently toss until all the shrimp are evenly coated in the seasoning mixture.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours before serving. Pair with cocktail sauce and remoulade on the side for dipping.
Notes & Suggestions:
Want to make it look extra impressive? Serve the shrimp on a platter over crushed ice with lemon wedges and fresh herbs for garnish.
